Degree in Biochemistry

The course plan includes training that gives the student diversified knowledge and skills in key areas of Biochemistry.
This initial training in biochemistry can be complemented with the development of 2nd and 3rd course cycles.
In the first year it is intended that students acquire a solid background in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in preparation for the approach of biochemical phenomena. In the second year the students complement their training in physics and biology and acquire a comprehensive training of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the intermediate level. The third year consists of curricular areas (PAs) more advanced and/or integrating the knowledge acquired previously. At this level training may be varied by choosing different options.
The official length of the course is 3 years (6 semesters) consisting of 40 weeks of full-time study per year and a total of 180 ECTS credits. The last semester includes the execution of an individual project.
