Events
The course Commission has held every year diversified curriculum enrichment activities including the organization of:
- Scientific meetings,
- Lecture cycles,
- Seminars,
- Photo contests,
- Visits to laboratories and companies.
These activities have the following objectives:
- To publicize the masters degree to laboratories and research centres that have advanced characterisation and analysis techniques;
- Establish links between the business community and the Department of Chemistry at the University of Minho;
- Advertise the masters degree to those that wish to improve their professional qualifications;
- Promote the masters degree to potential employers;
- To present and discuss current topics in the field of analytical chemistry.
The master’s degree celebrated its 5th anniversary on June the 6th 2013.
The event began at 18:30, at the museum D. Diogo de Sousa and consisted of:
- Exhibition of photos from the photo competition: "Olhares Analíticos"
- "In conversation with Mario Rebola: quality control and its business applicability"; Company: Mario Rebola - Environmental Consultancy Lda.
- Commemorative dinner.
