Part-time student
On 15th September 2008, the Rector of the University of Minho approved the rules applicable for part-time students. This document defines the students who have access to this scheme, the number of modules in which the student should be enrolled and the necessary documentation to instruct the process. As in other student schemes, the fee and the tuition payment scheme are fixed by the competent bodies of the University.
Thus, since September 2008, students who for whatever reason do not want or cannot attend all course units of the course, can make a partial entry in part-time students. The difference that was introduced with the creation of the part-time students scheme is that students now pay a proportional amount to the number of ECTS to do. For more information on the application procedure, applicants must download the Rector's order and contact the course director to complete the necessary formalities, within 30 days after the beginning of the semester.
