Course Outline
This course lasts for 4 semesters (2 academic years), corresponding to 120 ECTS. The curriculum integrates course units (CUs) with a strong laboratory component (32.5%) which allows, in addition to the application of knowledge, the acquisition of practical skills. In this laboratory component, students can practice preparation techniques, treatment of complex samples, structural characterisation, quantification of analytes and statistical analysis. The laboratory performance associated with each CU involves teamwork, which allows students to develop skills such as organization, distribution of tasks and cooperation. Student performance in the various components of the tasks will be evaluated and considered in the final classification.
