Regulations:
With the publication of Decree 36/2014 of the 10th of March, which approved the status of international students in higher education institutions, the appropriate legal means of admission of foreign students were created through the implementation of a special procedure for access and entry in undergraduate studies and integrated masters degrees .
The “Despacho” RT-34/2014, dated June 2 frames the Statute of the International Student at the University of Minho. This only applies to Graduate Students.

Scholarships and Grants:
The resolution of the General Council No. 013/2014 established for science courses a registration fee of 6500 euros (Fees). However, for the year 2014-15 grants will be offered for enrollment in the School of Sciences courses having the student to pay an annual fee of 1037.20 euros.

Scholarships:
Students admitted to degree courses of the School of Sciences under the International Student Statutes may apply for Scholarships. The recipients of these grants will pay only the value of the minimum fee of 1037.20 euros, with the remainder being funded by the University of Minho through the General Directorate of Higher Education (Higher Education Department). The award of the scholarship is not automatic and result of a procedure held by the Higher Education Department through its the website. This tuition is only valid for undergraduate programs.
